Ride in support of MC Canada Witness
Mennonite Church Canada congregations are invited to participate in Ride for Refuge, a fun, ride/walk fundraising event in support of the nationwide church’s international Witness ministry, on Sept. 29. Last year’s event raised more than $35,000 to train young entrepreneurs in South Africa, grow peacebuilding and justice initiatives in the Philippines, create a safe space for newcomers to Canada, and to help marginalized people in Canada and around the world. This year’s goal is $75,000.
