There are a few new things about the website besides the look, and we’d like to introduce them.
The first thing is the issue navigation menu. To the left, you’ll notice a list of articles, and at the top, there are two tabs: ‘This issue’, and ‘Browse’. From the home page, this list of articles represents articles from the most recent print issue that we have published on the web. Clicking on 'Browse' will allow you to view/browse the web articles by category. There will also be content that we publish to the web that may not appear in print, these articles will be under ‘Web first - ENI’, which is news from Ecumenical News International, and ‘Web first - News update’, which is our most recent news.
Second is the ‘Articles’ button in the menu above. This button simply lists, starting from the most recent article, all of the content we have published online.
Articles themselves have a couple of new things. If an article has a picture, click on it to see it larger, and possibly see more pictures related to the article. In addition, you can now leave comments at the bottom of articles.
Also, check out our blogs. We have several great bloggers who would love for you to read and then respond (in the comments) to what they have to say.
Want to learn more about us? the menu at the very top of the page has links for you to find out more about us, how to contact us, about subscriptions, how to submit content, what our deadlines are, and how you can make a donation.
Since not all of our back issues are currently available on this new site, you may still visit our old site at http://legacy.canadianmennonite.org. The old site will no longer be maintained, but will be available until all past issues have been migrated to the new site.
To view our website (and most of the web) in the best possible way, we highly recommend the use of one of the following browsers:
They’re all free, and offer a great web viewing experience.
Lastly, because of the major changes we’ve made, there may be some hiccups in your experience of our website. If you encounter any issues, please send an e-mail to our graphic designer, who will check into the problem and get it fixed as quickly as possible.
Thanks for visiting, and we hope you enjoy the new site!
